Labs / Experiment 003
This is a map of the 62 parcels that are in both the Arlington Historic Structures Inventory, last updated November 2018, and the MBTA Communities overlay. It was created with help from AI, which ran multiple checks against both source lists. You can read the Historic Structures Inventory (PDF, 111 KB) and the MBTA Communities parcel report (PDF, 1.5 MB). Both links point to the exact versions of those documents that this analysis used.
A few addresses on both lists carry no house number at all — they read 0 or LOT. Seven overlay parcels and six inventory listings are written that way. None of them fall on the same street, so none of them changed this map. If one ever did, there would be no house number to match on, and we are not sure how to deal with those.

Overlay parcels from the ARB Report — Parcels in MBTAC Overlay. Listings from the Historic Structures Inventory, updated 2 Nov 2018, Arlington Historical Commission jurisdiction only; the 377 properties in local historic districts are excluded, and none of them fall in the overlay.
Dots are geocoded from address ranges along street centerlines, so each marks approximate frontage rather than a surveyed parcel centroid. Basemap data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
